About This Course
This 1-day refresher is designed for sailors who already hold the SRC certificate but wish to renew their knowledge and practise their radio communication skills. It is especially valuable if you have not used your radio regularly, or want to improve your confidence in maritime English communication.

- Review of VHF DSC distress, urgency, and routine procedures
- Mayday, Pan Pan, and Securité scenario practice
- Maritime English communication exercises
- Current GMDSS regulations update
- Practical radio exercises in pairs
- Q&A session with your instructor

Existing SRC certificate holders who want to consolidate their skills and communication confidence. No examination — just effective, practical skills reinforcement.
Hands-On Practice
As with our SRC course, this refresher uses real VHF radio sets. You will practise calling, receiving, and operating the equipment in realistic simulated scenarios.
